About
Dangermoose Studios is the result of late-night inspiration, conjured up 5 minutes before bedtime on a Sunday night. It is a new UK-based small business, in the video games industry, creating “indie” games for new platforms such as Xbox Live Indie Games on the Xbox 360 and Apple iPhone/iTouch. I wanted a place where I could give some meaning to and centralize all my “indie” game development, discuss current projects and talk about issues during game development and the solutions I discovered to solve them, and so this website was born. The business is in its early stages and I hope to bring it into fruition after completing my degree.
My first project, Climaction!, will be a 2d side-scroller with an educational background that highlights the significance of the effects of global warming in the near future. The project originally started as a final year project for university, but I have decided to develop it further and publish it.
I am a 21 year old student at Bournemouth University, studying my final year of university. I have been a serious gamer for a number of years, investing in the latest technology to support my hobby. At the age of about 12 I got into programming and development, and the introduction of XNA in 2006 led to a keen interest in this specific field. I had once dreamed about becoming a game developer, as early as the age of 8, but as I grew older I took a keener interest in web development. Now, after almost completing my studies, my interest is back in game design and I am keen to produce something I will be proud of.
